Hey girls!
Sharing a really small post on my obsessiveness of pairing stripes with stripes! I love outfits that can be paired together, as a one. If you know what I mean? In short, I love the idea of a print on print, or a stripes on stripes. I believe it looks really unique and breaks us from the pattern of mundane dressing. Don’t get me wrong, my love for plain t-shirts is undeniable!
So the other day, I bought myself these black and white striped culottes from a random store in Lokhandwala, for Rs.650 on discount. I prefer culottes on days when I feel like wearing something not as body hugging, yet stylish. These are perfect for a chic look and can be teamed up with a shirt, to dress up or a plain t-shirt to dress down.
I wore a black racer back with this, which is priced at Rs.250 and is one of my most favourite things to wear at the gym! But it looks really cool, with denims and I ended up pairing it up with these pants.
About the jacket, it is actually a black and white stripped zipper dress which was gifted to me. I am not sure about the store or brand of the dress, but it is from somewhere in Bangkok. I love the crisp material it has and how chic and sharp it looks at the same time! I can’t wait to wear it like a dress some time.
To put my look together, I chose these classic white block heel sandals from Westside, by the brand Head over Heels.
The bag is by forever 21, priced at Rs.1999. I picked it up from their store at Infinity Mall, in Mumbai. What I love about it, is the shape and simple design that makes it look so elegant and chic. You can use it as a sling, hanging on your shoulder or just hold it by the handle for that formal look.
The shades that I am wearing are Rayban’s from their mercurial collection that I picked up almost 3 summers ago from Shopper’s Stop for Rs.10,000. They are definitely not the most reasonably priced sunglasses, but I love the style, the colour of the glasses and that these are UV Protectant as well.
All in all, I wanna share the idea of experimenting a little with your outfit. It was mostly about picking up random stuff from my closet that I threw together to get this look.
I hope you girls enjoyed reading this piece. Please don’t forget to follow me on my social media and check out my other posts as well 🙂 xoxo
