Hey my beauties! I hope, all of you are doing really really well! I’ve been so tied up filming videos and working on the blog. Also, the gym! But, I have been meaning to share my take on the MAYBELLINE BABY LIPS COLOR BLOOM, LIP COLOR CHANGING LIP BALM! (I also just filmed a video on the same! So, Maybelline India, sent me two shades in the MAYBELLINE COLOR BLOOM range. (pink bloom and peach bloom)
I’ve been using the PINK BLOOM one and I’ve been loving it too!
The MAYBELLINE BABY LIPS COLOR BLOOM states on the packaging that, it moisturises your lips for upto 6 hrs, it has an SPF 16 and that once you touch the balm on your lips, it blossoms into your own made-to- measure sheer hint of pink color on the lips!
MY REVIEW ON THE MAYBELLINE COLOR BLOOM:
HYDRATES DRY LIPS:
By now, you know that I have dry skin. (face and body) And there is no escapism for my lips as well! I have been wearing the COLOR BLOOM LIP BALM about twice-thrice a day. Especially, after washing my face in the morning and obviously before I hit the sack. I love how this keeps my lips super hydrated and moisturised.
Also, it has JOJOBA OIL, VITAMIN E and ANTI-OXIDANTS which are all supposed to be the best for hydration and nourishment. And, I can tell you, that my lips now feel super moisturised , hydrated and nourished. Also, the balm is not sticky. It is comfortable enough for me even when I purse my lips, talk, eat, etc.
SUN PROTECTION:
Since it has an SPF of 16, it definitely protects my lips from the sun’s harmful rays. Now girls, we always wear sunscreen on our face, hands, body and miss out on our lips. It is even more essential that we take care of our lips as well from the sun’s harmful rays. The lips are equally prone to pigmentation because of the sun. I’ve especially been taking extra care of my lips, since the time I understood that the lips not only need hydration, but they also need to be protected from SUN DAMAGE.
LIP COLOR:
Lastly, what I really love about the MAYBELLINE BABY LIPS COLOR BLOOM LIP BALM, is that, surprisingly the PINK BLOOM lip balm is white in color!
But it adds a beautiful hint of color to my lips, which I just couldn’t ignore! This white balm makes my lips appear pink! So pink! I’m assuming that, that is what they mean by your own made-to-measure lip color changing lip balm! The color initially looks a little bit glossy, because of the balm. But as the balm wears off, the color is still sitting on my lips! This color bloom lip balm by Maybelline makes my lips look naturally pink. And when I wear this at night, I wake up to such soft, baby lips which are literally baby pink in color!
Believe me, I think it’s the best lip tinted, moisturising and sun protecting lip balm you are gonna find for just Rs.185 for 1.7 gms!
