Orange organic face mask!

Orange organic face mask!

Hello ladies! It’s been a long weekend for me and I’m just happy to be back on the blog once again for all of you!

Since the summers are here I’m on a rhythm of posting write-ups related to the heat! I was out on a long drive all of yesterday and I had to just follow this regime once I got home. Sharing just a few basic steps for you to get rid of tan in simple ways at home.

Always remember to start any facial process with a gentle cleanser. Like I’ve spoken about my love for the NIVEA Cleansing Milk, I use that. Click here to read more.

Once you are done with the process of getting your skin clean, exfoliate it. I swear by the Papaya and Honey scrub. I simply use a little papaya pulp, mix it with a tsp of honey and add some sugar to it. You can follow the same as well! Make this into a thick paste, or just enough consistency to use it as an exfoliator on your face. Rub this paste gently into your skin for 2-3 minutes in a circulatory motion and let it rest on your face for at least 10 minutes or until it dries out.

Making this a completely organic process, I prefer to go the Vitamin C way. Vitamin C works best on the skin since it has a lot of antioxidants and works best to remove pigmentation and tan from the skin. Take some orange juice, lime juice and honey. I use a face pack brush to apply this mix. It may not necessarily sit on the face like any other pasty face mask, but it does not mean it is not working! Apply this mix nicely all over the face avoiding the area around the eyes.  Let it rest on the face for 20 minutes and wash it off with cold water.

This 3 step process really works at making my skin lighten and all in an organic way. I like to pamper myself with this just before hitting the sack. It helps my skin rejuvenate while getting a good sleep. Following this just about once a week will do wonders for your skin.
