Detox diet is the in thing these days. Detox is the short form for detoxification. The process of naturally eliminating toxins from the body is called Detoxification. There are different kinds of detoxification diets. Mainly, these diets are followed for a short term. There are detox diet plans that are customized according to individual needs and can be followed from a period ranging from one day, to three days, to five days to even seven days. Detox cleanses include only fruit diet, only greens and only fruit and vegetable juices too. It is not advised to be on a detox diet for a longer period of time.
